Howdy Ya’ll… Welcome to Creative Challenge Monday, this is CCC18. I was inspired to do a country card for our neighbors. They have cows and my hubby occasionally takes care of them and my sweet little girl goes for visits to their home. They are really sweet people and have been very good to us. I wanted to give them a Thank You card for a CD of photos that they gave me. Here are a couple of the photos from the CD, this is Macie with the neighbor. They are checking out the new baby calf.
We also have a Facebook group now at Creative Challenge Club. Join us here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/creativechallengeclub/
Here is the sketch challenge. We would love to have you play along. Come on over to Creative Challenge Club and participate with us.
Here is my whole card
- Stampin on Color card stock – Sometimes I forget that I can stamp an outline image right onto color card stock. This is how I did the cowboy hat. I really love how it looks too. Then I just added a little darker color on the band of the hat with a crumb cake blendabilities marker.
- Horseshoes – I got the silver horseshoes by coloring with my silver metallic marker and then stamping over it. You can also stamp the image first and then color in with the marker. If you do it this way you have to be careful not to color over the black outline.
