When I was at church a couple weeks ago one of the ladies came up to me and asked if I would be willing to make some candy cane goodies with a sweet poem attached.
Of course I said yes. Who could say no to a sweet church lady?

One of the things I notice most during Christmas is how little focus is put on the actual reason for Christmas. The celebration of the birth of Jesus. Now, no matter how you believe, Christmas came about for this reason.
I personally do believe that Jesus is real and he is the son of God. However, I am also fine with however you believe. Because we are all here together basically trying to accomplish the same thing. To be good and kind humans and love one another. That’s the ultimate goal, right?
Anyway, I created these for the church but I also thought it would be fun to have some for myself to take around and leave on peoples cars or give to some friends and family members.
TIPS & INSTRUCTIONS:
+ You can print this and use it to make your own treats. I scaled it to fit four on a page. Just click on the image from a computer, then click file, print. Usually you will get an option to print more than one per page. If your computer has that option choose to print 4 on a page.
+ Cut Cherry Cobbler card stock at 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ and adhere the poem to the card stock
+ Punch a hole in the corner and attach with ribbon to the candy cane
