Card making ideas are so simple to come up with when you just limit your supplies.
Have you ever tried this?
I used just a handful of the same supplies to make all the cards I am sharing today.

We often get creative blocks because of overwhelm and then card making idea stop.
Clean off your crafting space. Grab a handful of product and then force yourself to see what you can come up with.

I was amazed at how many different card making ideas I came up with when I tried this technique.

My choice of product was simple. Brights Stampin’ Write marker set, Whisper White Thick (always thick people) cardstock and Memento Tuxedo black ink.
Of course the gorgeous Under My Umbrella bundle from Stampin’ UP!

If you didn’t catch last weeks Simple Saturday share you can catch it by clicking HERE. My blog is full of card making ideas, but today’s post is really focused on using limited supplies.
TIPS & INSTRUCTIONS
+ Use Whisper White Thick card stock
+ I cut a few pieces at 4″ x 5-1/4″ and had scraps for coloring the umbrellas
+ Make sure you color the card stock first and then stamp the umbrella image over it
+ To create a plaid background just draw lines on the card stock, then lines crossing the other way, then a smaller line with a different color in between the first lines you drew.
