50’s Marquee Sign Card

Create a fun 1950's themed card using the Marquee stamp set from Stampin' UP! Wendy Cranford luvinstampin.com

This is one of my favorite stamp sets in the entire Stampin’ UP! catalog.  I just love it.  The funny thing is it’s taken me this long to create a card using the set.

When I set out to make these cards I wanted them to have a 1950’s feel, so I googled “1950’s marquee signs” and found several cool old signs.

I tried to replicate the color scheme found in a lot of them using my copic markers.

I created these cards for the teachers at my daughters elementary school.  I am part of the Parents Club and we raise money to give each teacher a $100 gift card to use on classroom supplies.  You can check out the inside of the card in my video.
