Today we are going to talk about how to make interactive cards and different interactive card ideas.
Everyone’s opinion on what an interactive card is might differ. I will share my thoughts and then you can decide what you think.
Interactive Card Ideas
The first card I share with you today is a wheel or dial card. These cards are very popular to create and can be created with or without dies. For today’s card, I chose to use the Give It A Whirl dies from Stampin’ UP!

If you’re looking to take the math and guesswork out of creating an interactive wheel card, then these dies are your answer. Let’s face it math and guesswork aren’t fun, but making an interactive wheel card is fun.

The second card I am sharing today does not use a die set. But these interactive cards are very easy to create. I have neglected to use the Brave Vikings stamp set and it’s been calling out to me.
The ship is the perfect image to have on this fun pull card.

My first tip for any interactive card is, to make it make sense. Ya know what I’m sayin? Like, don’t put a flower on a pull tab card. Instead choose a car, a boat, an animal. Something that would animate.
The next step is to make your pull tab move in the direction the image faces. In the case of the card I share today, the ship faces to the left so the pull moves left to right with the ship on the end of that pull.
I hope that makes sense. Sometimes, I find, that explaining cardmaking in print is a lot more difficult than showing someone with a video.

If you have a favorite interactive cards Pinterest board I would love it if you shared the image below by pinning it there. This also allows you go to revisit this project whenever you need to and it shares the ideas with other people.
Don’t forget to pin this one too. A little color splash for some fun cardmaking color combinations inspiration. That’s a mouth full.

Don’t forget the free gifts I have this month when you place a qualifying order. Make sure to use the appropriate host code.
