Well I have another year in the books at the Good Ol Amador County Fair!  I thought I would share some of my videos from my phone and my photos… The quality isn’t the best, but at least you get to see what us hillbilly’s do for fun! HA!

Opening day of the fair, we always walk in the parade and decorate our wagon with the theme of the fair.  This year it was
75 Year Anniversary!

Shoot out at the jail!  Doing my part to stay politically incorrect 🙂

Macie and a friend from school… getting ready to ride their sheep!

Macie’s ride on her sheep!  She had so much fun, and asked when she would get to do it again.

Macie and her cousin, they got their faces painted after the Mutton Bustin!
Friday night at the fair our good friend Amy and her daughter Issy came to visit.  They never miss a fair.  They drive all the way from Monterey to hang with us and get in touch with their inner country girl!

Saturday we went back to the fair with the kids and this time I brought Kayla, my friend and fellow blogger Tina’s daughter.

Issy and Macie love Smokey!

Saturday afternoon I went and picked up my Grandparents so that they could come to the fair.  Here we are listening to music and hanging out!  I loved bringing them to the fair.

Sunday night is DERBY NIGHT… The destruction derby!  Every year a bunch of our friends get together at our house and we go the derby together.  THis is a no kids event!  We have so much fun!
As we were entering the fair this team was praying before their derby run.  I thought it was so cool, and snapped a photo of them.  Makes me feel like we are still living in the land of the free!

In case you don’t know what a Destruction Derby is…. Well.. Here you go!  Ulitmate redneck fun!
