Today’s card is a true labor of love. It was my second try at making this autumn scene. While it’s better than the first I still see room for improvement.
I took Sandy Allnock’s Copic Marker Mini Autumn Scenes class (CLICK HERE to take it). She is so talented. So I had to give it a try.
I love coloring and Sandy’s classes make me feel like a fantastic colorer. (colorer is a weird word I am not sure it’s a real word) Should it be colorist?
Here are both of the cards. I LOVED creating these cards.
Here is the video:

These are amazing. They look like I am walking through the forest.
Wendy, I always enjoy your video’s, but this one is AMAZING! I love the colors and the way you made it look like there was a path in the forest.
The video you posted was at a faster speed, right? Can you tell me how long it actually took to compose the entire wonderful scene? Looks like a lot of work. Thank you for sharing.
Yes I sped the video up a lot. 4X normal to be exact. It took me about an hour to create this.

Good Job! I prefer using watercolors to color cards, and I get that same frustration/joy from them that you get from Copics. I still enjoyed watching the video, tho, and since it’s still hot in Florida where I am, it was nice to get the “feeling of fall” for a few minutes! Looking forward to more Color it Mondays, or whatever your phrase was!
HAHA! Thanks Pamela. So glad you stopped by and left me a comment 🙂
wow – sorry that is all I can say, well maybe a bit more – very impressed.
you have made it look so simple – have followed Sandy for a long time but never done a class – maybe I should now do this class, Thank you so much for sharing
You will never regret taking any of her classes. She’s a wonderful teacher.
