Autumn Scene feat. A Little Wild & Copic Coloring

Today’s card is a true labor of love.  It was my second try at making this autumn scene.  While it’s better than the first I still see room for improvement.

I took Sandy Allnock’s Copic Marker Mini Autumn Scenes class (CLICK HERE to take it).  She is so talented.  So I had to give it a try.

I love coloring and Sandy’s classes make me feel like a fantastic colorer. (colorer is a weird word I am not sure it’s a real word)  Should it be colorist?

I digress.

Here are both of the cards.  I LOVED creating these cards.

Here is the video:

Supplies used on this card are listed below.

REMINDER:  If you place a minimum purchase of $50 (before tax and shipping) you will receive a brand new package of Stitched Felt embellishments and 3 free card kits.  If your order is more than $150 do NOT use the host code, you will still get the free goodies.  The free items are mailed separately, from me, not Stampin’ UP! and will be mailed after Oct 25th.  These items are only available for one order, during the offer period.  Meaning if you place a second order, you will not receive a second set kits and embellishments.  Offer is Sept 22 – Oct 22.  Subscribing to Paper Pumpkin does not count towards a $50 order unless you purchase a pre paid subscription.  This offer is only through me, Wendy Cranford, and is not a Stampin’ UP! offer.  Offer only available to online orders.

  1. Wendy, I always enjoy your video’s, but this one is AMAZING! I love the colors and the way you made it look like there was a path in the forest.

The video you posted was at a faster speed, right? Can you tell me how long it actually took to compose the entire wonderful scene? Looks like a lot of work. Thank you for sharing.

  2. Good Job! I prefer using watercolors to color cards, and I get that same frustration/joy from them that you get from Copics. I still enjoyed watching the video, tho, and since it’s still hot in Florida where I am, it was nice to get the “feeling of fall” for a few minutes! Looking forward to more Color it Mondays, or whatever your phrase was!
