The last few weeks have been so crazy and as much as I tried to be prepared for things, I am finding myself struggling to keep up.
End of summer. I was listening to the radio the other day and I heard some guy say that back to school time is the most stressful time of the year for parents.
I thought to myself, I don’t feel stressed.
Then I realized how stressed I am over getting work done and that is directly related to it being the end of summer. HAHA!
It’s also a very exciting time of year. My little lady will be entering 6th grade. I just can’t believe it.
This week we are working on getting her bed time back on track and making sure all her clothes are sorted and ready and all her school supplies.
One of the things that includes is a back to school gift for her teacher. The teacher she will have for 6th grade, she had for 3rd grade. He has since moved grades.
She is thrilled to have him as her teacher and I am looking forward to a fun year for her.
I try to always start the year off on the right foot. So I pack up a bunch of supplies that I know they can use through the year, I try to do this once or twice a year.
