Today I am sharing a project with you that I had a wonderful time making.
This whole month I am going to be celebrating women on my blog and you tube channel. Specifically the women in my life.
My Mom loves sweets. I mean seriously, like loves them.
She’s the only person I know that will wake up and have cake and ice tea for breakfast! GAH.
I am sure she will be thrilled that I am sharing this with you. HAHA!
My Mom, was a single parent. My Grandparents helped out a ton, because Mom worked full time and weekends sometimes doing catering and stuff to make ends meet. We grew up on pretty meager means but never felt deprived.
I will be giving my Mom more than a chocolate covered peep for Mother’s Day, however I thought this was a super cute way to give her something she loves and enjoys.
This project is a lot like the projects in our awesome Stampin’ Anonymous Tutorials (which by the way, are put together by some fabulous women)
The tutorial bundle is amazing and has photos and written instructions. I have recorded a video of my project and anyone who orders or buys the tutorial will receive the video from me.
I have all the tips and instructions listed here for the cute project I made today.
TIPS & INSTRUCTIONS:
+ Cut How Sweet It Is designer series paper to 8 1/8″ x 8 3/4″
+ On the 8-3/4″ side score at 1-1/8″, 4-1/8″, 5-1/4″ and 8-1/4″
+ On the 8-1/8″ side score at 1-1/8″, 5-1/8″, and 6-1/4″
+ Cut away all the pieces on the top end of the box except the area that is closest to the 1/2″ closure tab. (this part is hard to explain, see photos and video)

Cute stories of your mom. Cute bo.x also. I have been passing up the Fable Friends stamp set but seeing all the cute cards/projects you have done-well it is on my list!

Wendy, I liked the Velcro dots you used to close the box. Where did you get them?
