I am so excited to share today’s Color Splash. Color is something I struggled with for a long time when I started card making.
I never knew what colors went well together and got frustrated a lot of the time when my cards would not turn out the way I imagined them.

Today’s Color Splash combo is Blushing Bride, Soft Sea Foam, Basic Gray and Smoky Slate.
These colors create a mellow feminine feel. The first card I made, which is featured in the video below, uses all four colors of cardstock. Layered on a Whisper White base and then die cut with Stitched Rectangle Dies.
I used the brand new Playful Alphabet dies to create the word “Hello”.

Super fun and simple, this card features Smoky Slate card stock and a combination of the other colors in inks.

This card is by far my favorite. This is my first successful attempt at no-line watercoloring. I used Blushing Bride ink and Soft Sea Foam Ink to color the peony. I am pleased as punch with how this card came together.

What beautiful color combinations. I think I will give this a try. Could I use Pear Pizzazz for the Sea Form Green? Can you believe I don’t have Sea Foam paper or ink!!!!! How did I miss that!
