Color Splash Twelve is a Christmas inspired color combination. I really love how this card came together and the In The Pines bundle is gorgeous.
Merry Merlot is a beautiful color that I personally think gets overlooked often. It gives me a warm and cozy feeling.
I used the layering oval dies to create a scene within the ovals.
On the background Whisper White piece, I embossed with the snowflake embossing folder.
Color Splash Twelve is perfect for Christmas but you could use this color combo in several ways. It would make terrific masculine cards.

Love your card, but I really loved your story. I love story time. I’m laughing along and remembering going to my grandma and grandpa’s house. Us five kids piled in the station wagon going thru the windy mountain roads singing “She’ll be Coming Around the Mountains” while we always had to pull over cuz my sister would get sick on our way to Boulder Creek, CA. The little tiny white house. My grandma was old, heavy set, long white flyaway hair, no teeth and blind. She was always sitting in her chair in the corner of the room. My mom would push us towards her and say, “Go say hi to your grandma”. I unwillingly walked up to her and said hi. She would be feeling me all over my face and body and saying “Oh Susie, you’ve grown so much”. Then grandpa would give us all a nickel and we went outside to play. My older sisters did their own thing and my two older brothers took off. I was left on the cement porch, playing in the dirt with my nickel and somehow lost it. I just remember crying and being afraid grandpa would be mad at me. Thanks for the great stories!
