Coloring On Solid Cardstock

Today I am sharing a couple of ideas for coloring on solid cardstock. The Rabbit Hole Design has a brand new release today of some gorgeous new products.

I have one video for you today sharing how I made the cute Halloween card and then I’ll release another video later this week with the Christmas card.

COLORING ON SOLID CARDSTOCK

For this card, I used the iuile watercolors and absolutely love how this card turned out. These watercolors are fabulous for coloring on solid cardstock.

For the sentiment, I used the new Bag of Bones stamp set that will be available September 6th.

My friend Kelly Taylor designed the Poinsettia & Pinecones stamp set you see here and it’s stunning. This card turned out fabulous, but I have to admit the photography of the card not so much. I really feel like photos don’t do this card justice. Sometimes that happens.

I used Prisma Colored Pencils to color this card. Colored pencils are fantastic for coloring on solid cardstock. The only tip I have is to use a light hand. If you put too much pressure when you’re coloring it makes it harder to blend color.
