Gentle Peace is such a beautiful stamp set. It really shows the complete meaning of Christmas. I so love this. The sentiments are beautiful. This stamp set can be purchased in my online store. I love coloring. I am sure I have mentioned this before. I took to coloring on vellum, everyone is doing it… lol. I find the one place it’s ok to do what everyone else is doing is in card making! Can’t beat’em, join’em. Go on over to Creative Challenge Club and play along with us. We’d love to see what you come up with.
Here’s the sketch.
Tips & Tricks
- Coloring on Vellum – When you use blendabilities on vellum be careful not to let them sit in one place too long. The ink can’t absorb into the paper so it sits on top and it will begin to pool.
- Stamping with white Staz On – When you stamp with white Staz On make sure your image is inked up really well. The ink can be sticky and sometimes pull your paper up when you stamp. Stamp the image BEFORE you adhere it down, so that if you make a boo boo you can just re-stamp. Staz On ink is a permanent ink and great for all kinds of projects.
