Coloring Tips For Cardmaking and Saturday Storytime

Today I have a beautiful card to share with you. I created this card for my friend and helper Miss Debra. She’s the best. I’ve got some coloring tips for cardmaking, but mostly I just have some fun storytime to catch up with everyone.

COLORING TIPS FOR CARDMAKING

For the card today I used primarily Copic markers and a few Stampin’ Blends. I’ve got a few tips for you in the video but mostly my tips are here on my blog.

Alcohol Marker Coloring Tips:

+ Choose your colors before you start your process.

+ Swatch your colors so you are certain which will go best together.

+ If coming up with your own color combos is intimidating with Copics, visit my friend Kelly’s blog HERE.

+ Take a class. Sandy Allnock has excellent classes on learning how to use Copic Markers

+ Don’t be afraid to make a mistake. This is how you will learn.

+ If you’re new to alcohol markers start with Stampin’ Blends. They are very easy to use and offer a great starting option.

Have you tried alcohol markers? If you haven’t I suggest giving Stampin’ Blends a try to start.
