I wanted to share my Stampin’ UP! convention swap. I made 40 of these cards to take with me to Convention and trade for other demonstrators cards. Card swapping is so fun. You get to come home with so many fun and new cards you wouldn’t have had before.
The photo below is after I have embossed it using the new Beautifully Baroque embossing folder. I then used my Crushed Curry Ink pad and turned it upside down pushed the ink pad directly to the paper. The makes it so it just inks the raised image.
Here are the details for the card:
Cut a piece of night of navy at 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and fold in half
Cut a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock at 5 1/4″ x 4″ and then emboss
After embossing ink with desired ink color, I used Crushed Curry
Wrap a piece of denim ribbon around the cardstock and adhere to the back
For the layered piece:
Cut night of navy layer at 3 1/2″ x 2 1/2″
Cut smokey slate layer at 3 1/4″ x 2 1/4″
Layer them together
Punch out chevron pieces from regals dsp and adhere them to bottom of the layered piece, you can see this above in the top photo.
Then stamp your happy birthday sentiment on a piece of night of navy using the new silver ink pad from the holiday catalog. Punch out the image and put on a dimensional.
Here is how crazy I was before Convention – I forgot to take a photo of the finished card! BAHAHAHA! So you will get to see it here in the top photo. It’s like a wheres waldo? It’s in the top right hand corner of the photo!
