Welcome!
It’s such an honor to be hopping with the Crazy Crafters Team. My friend Kylie who lives in Australia has a fabulous team of demonstrators. They chose me this week to be their inspiration station for their designs.
Their job was to go to my blog and CASE (copy and share everything) that I have created.
How fun!
Today I create a very different card than my usual style. I paired the Floral Phrases with Christmas Pines to create a really cool and unique wedding card.
My cousin-in-law Amanda is getting married this weekend in the redwoods in Santa Cruz. She’s having a very bohemian outdoor magical forest type of wedding.
I knew right away I would like to use pine cones and pine needles to create her card.
I used crumb cake card stock as my base, lots of copper embossing powder and old olive green and always artichoke for my pine needles.
I also created a custom envelope for the card. Hope you like it!
What’s your best marriage advice for a new couple!? I would love to know.
Make sure you continue hopping and see all the cards created based off my creations. I am so excited to see all the fabulous stuff that is created.

Hello, Wendy, Thank you so much for blogging with us today we have been looking so forward to it, and panic stations were on just moments before we all went live but everything for my blog was okay in the end Phew.
I like your different style Wedding Card, it is a great design for the theme of the Wedding. I know that the Bride and Groom will be extremely happy with your choice of the card as with Handmade Cards it is the thought of how you are to make it and there is also the love we put into the card too.
I hope you have a wonderful day celebrating the first day of the rest of the Happy Couples new lives together.
I love going to Weddings as it brings back all those beautiful memories I have of my own Wedding Day so many years ago.
I have been married 29 years on 28 November 2016, to my darling husband Ray. We were courting for 5 years before Ray got down on one knee and proposed to me, we were then Engaged a further 22 months before we Wed. So yes we were married on the 7-year itch.
My advice to the Happy Couple is.
NEVER go to bed angry.
Always Greet each other with a Hello and a Goodbye as you never know what the day has in store for you. ( this is the Vows in Bad Times)
Tell each other your feelings – don’t say I’m Fine, or It’s okay when it clearly it is not. The other partner is not a mind-reader.
Best Wishes Christine xxx

Hi Wendy! Thank you so much for hopping with us today, we are the honoured ones! Your creations are so bright, fun and happy so it was awesome to case one- that was the hard part choosing just one! Love this creation – I’m yet to crack open the dies for this set looking forward to that 🙂 xx
Advice – we have 2: Always remember your wedding vowels – that promise you made to ‘love/protect, sickness/health, richer/poorer, good times/bad’, The other my husband and I have always stuck by ‘work as a team’ we may not always agree on everything but we have the same goals and when we work together getting there is so much more rewarding. xox
