Welcome to the Crazy Crafters Blog Hop!
I haven’t done a blog hop in a really long time. When the amazing and beautiful, Kylie Bertucci, asks if her team can copy projects you’ve done and have a blog hop with you, you say HECK YES!!!! What an honor to be asked on this awesome event with Kylie’s team. The fact that anyone would want to copy my projects is so humbling and gratifying.
The challenge is each person on this blog hop had to find a project of mine they liked and CASE (copy and share everything or copy and selectively edit) it. I also had to do this. I had to find one of my old projects and CASE it.
I dug WAY back into my files. The gem I stumbled on is absolutely adorable. It also shows you the progress I’ve made as a blogger and demonstrator.
The original blog post had NO photo, haha! I can’t even fathom that now. There were very little instructions and I didn’t even link to a product. Good grief! But the video I (Macie) created is beyond adorable and I am so thankful I recorded it. Listening to her little voice brought tears to my eyes and I can’t believe how time has passed and how much we’ve both grown.
Here is my original video:
**my Macie was only 3 years old at the time of this video, and I had only been with Stampin UP a little over a year.**
Well since we’ve grown up so much, I thought this project should also. I hope you enjoy my remake of my original, fairly elementary, Valentine’s Gift Bag. Which by the way, is still a great project for anyone with a little kid at home!
Current links to current products that I use on the updated project are listed at the very bottom of this blog post.
TIPS & INSTRUCTIONS:
+ Start with a 12″ x 12″ piece of card stock
+ Score at 2″, 5 1/2″, 7 1/2″ and 11″
+ Turn and score at 2″ (this is the bottom of the flap)
+ Do all your stamping before folding, you could even do it before scoring
+ Use any candies or goodies to put inside the bag
Often crafting and stamping is about so much more than ink and paper. It’s about loving each other and connecting and showing other people you love them with little treats of handmade kindness.

Your stamping with your daughter reminds me of scrapbooking with my 4 year old and 12 year old nieces. It is so much fun to see how their minds work through the creative process. It amazes me how much design sense some kids possess

You have grown, as well as your daughter, I bet! What a beautiful memory for you to have, both with SU! and your daughter! (I’m sure she’s NOT at all happy about the video being shown now)!LOL! I love your project.! I wasn’t with SU! then, don’t think I’d even heard of them! ( I know, NOT HEARD OF THEM? How is that possible? Anyhooo! It was nice to see SU! through the eyes of a child. What a awesome bonding time for you and your little girl! We don’t get a lot of them as they grow older!
This project looks to be so much fun! I’ll wait till a little later to make mine. If I have enough CS, I’ll make some for a new teacher’s class. She moved in next door a few months ago. All my grandchildren are either too old or too young for these bags right now.
But, THANK YOU so much for sharing this adorable project with us! Back then, you probably didn’t know you could make your own bags! What progress we all have made in our journey with SU! Thank YOU for sharing your journey with us!
Congrats on the Blog Hop!
