Today I am sharing the sweetest get “WHALE” card ever. I have a question, can anything be a wreath? My two cents worth is, yes, yes it can.
When I saw these cute whales I knew exactly what I wanted to create. Check out the video and photos below and scroll to the bottom of this post for a full supply list, or CLICK HERE for a visual supply list.
A CORAL “WREATH”
When I saw this adorable release from Pajama Crafter Stamps, several card ideas came to mind almost immediately. But this one was the one that was nagging me the most. I could not wait to create this card. Let’s talk about how I came up with the plan.
First, I wanted it to feel like a wreath and an underwater feel. I started by stamping all the tiny images from the What the Krill stamp set and coloring them with my copic markers. I am going to list all the colors I used here:
Pinks/Reds: R08, R05, R02, R11, R12, R21, R22, R24, RV04, RV09, RV25
Yellows/Greens/Oranges:Y13, Y15, Y18, YR04, YR07, YG41, YG45, G24, BG34
Blues: B06, B04, B01
Warm Gray: W1, W3, W5, W7 (the whales are colored with these colors)
After all the coloring and fussy cutting I was ready to assemble. I used a background die from Waffle Flower Crafts and a Circle Die from Honeybee Stamps. I used some foam tape to pop up the circle and glued everything down using the Press N Seal hinge technique.
So yes, in Wendy’s world, we can make anything a wreath! I hope enjoyed this card and pick up some of the new fun release from Pajama Crafter Stamps.
