I love the colors in today’s card.
Pretty Peacock, Real Red, Sahara Sand and Whisper White are not colors I would have thought to put together.

When I grabbed the Night Before Christmas designer series paper as my inspiration I felt like I needed to add one more color to help this card out, that’s when I chose Sahara Sand.

I used the new Cup of Christmas Bundle. It is so cool. The coffee cups are reversible and I think this new innovation from Stampin’ UP! is BRILLIANT.
You can purchase this bundle on September 4th!

+ Night Before Christmas designer series paper 4″ x 5-1/4″ add to Real Red layer.

Wendy,
Cute card! As for teaching kids, I hear ya. I wanted to “learn” (practice?) teaching kids the fundamentals of the Christian faith so I could teach my small grandchildren, so I volunteered to be a helper in our church’s Awana program for 3-4 year olds. Through a series of unfortunate health crises for the lead teacher I suddenly was the “real” teacher. Ugh! Like you, I’m not really a kid person either. I love MY littles but others, not so much????. It was eye opening and growth producing. Just always, always, always, pray before you get there. I’ll pray for you as well. Enjoy the experience. God is amazing and it will be exciting to see how He will work this all out for and through you!

Hi Wendy! Love your card today. Such a cute bundle. Thanks for the press and seal tip! Really enjoyed your kid story 🙂 Your daughter’s birthday party sounds like so much fun!! My daughter, (she’s 25 now!), has always been a huge Harry Potter fan. Thanks for sharing the adorable card and for story time.

Cute card. When I was making my wish list this bundle was at the top. Love your storytelling-you will do just fine “teacher”. Macie’s bday party will be a blast!

I am a 3rd grade teacher of math and science, which I love. My peeve is when they need special events, it is always, Lynndorian can stamp with them. Which means, I prep and make the cards as simple as possible. The kids love it so I just smile! What is a bigger peeve is when someone brings a child to my workshops and expects them to be able to do the adult projects, NO NO NO! I will do a child stamp camp for you! Wow, I didn’t realize I needed to vent, Thanks! BTW super cute project , thank you!
