I’m not gonna lie, I had no idea what to call this technique. So that’s how we got to die cut color stacking. I am certain that there is a better description for these cards.
However, I love how these cards turned out. They are so pretty. Fun. Bright. And full of cheer.
Some of them are birthday cards, a get well and a few thank you’s mixed in.
What are your favorite colors used here?
The yellow poppy is a mix of Mango Melody and Daffodil Delight.
Purple poppies are Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather.
And the red poppies are Flirty Flamingo and Poppy Parade.
The leaves are Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive.
I think my favorite is the red. I really do love red.
Tips & Instructions for Die Cut Color Stacking Cards
+ Choose your color combos. Put on your favorite binge worthy Netlfix show (Gilmore Girls). Now get busy cutting. I sat for 2 hours and cut dies just for fun.
+ Assemble your dies and add to your cards.
+ My card bases coordinate with the color of the poppy on the front.
+ The Whisper White Thick cardstock layer is cut at 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″
