Today I have two cards showing off a die cut inlay technique and one scene card.
All three cards feature the Seascape Bundle from Stampin’ UP!

The first card is so beautiful. I love the bright fun colors and the little fish are so cute.
Prior to adding the googly eyes to the red fish, they looked like little demon fish. But I tell ya, googly eyes on anything makes it better.

For this card I created a frame using the Diorama dies. If you layer a smaller die inside a larger one and die cut them together you get a perfect frame.
I like to use Post It Note tape to hold the dies together when I run them through. Link below Stampin UP! supply list for the post it note tape.

These two cards use the die cut inlay technique. Technically, it’s the cheater method. I die cut them but didn’t punch any of the pieces out except the eye and mouth and gill on the fish.
By doing this you get a beautiful texture and it gives your fish and sea horse interest. Before I die cut them I ink blended on Basic White Cardstock. Easy Peasy.

Die Cut Inlay Technique Stampin’ UP! Supply List:
Don’t forget when you place an order of $50 or more using the host code below you get free In Color Gems from me. All gems will be mailed in July.
NOTE: If you order is $150 or more do not use the host code. You will still get the free gift from me but using the host code will not allow you to get Stampin’ Rewards, and that would be a travesty.

I’m sorry Wendy….you had me in stitches laughing over your mishaps. A friend of mine that went fell. Guess I shouldn’t go to Hawaii as I’m a clutz. I love this card. So pretty. Thanks for sharing your life with us.
