Today I have some great die-cutting time saver tips for you, using the Color Splash 36 for inspiration.
The first card I have to share is my favorite of all the cards I created. I love the strips of color behind the intricate die cut that just makes it pop.
To create this card I used my first die-cutting time saver tip, I die-cut all my intricate dies in white, which saves time in choosing colors. You can then color the die cut with inks or markers.
The Pretty Perennials Bundle is also perfect for this color combination. I love how this background stamped card came together.
Next, I did some light ink blending in Coastal Cabana under the intricate die-cut. Then I stamped all the flowers in one of the colors from the color splash, I added my sentiment with Basic Gray ink.
The last card was a lot of fun. I was worried it might be too busy by background stamping the Basic Gray, however I am very pleased with how it turned out.
