This is the first time Macie has been in an actual school at the end of the school year.
Of course I have to take this opportunity to make something crafty with Macie for her schoolmates.
Our idea is a great DIY end of school year gift.
First, have fun with your kiddo collecting soft, smooth rocks. A river bed or lake are great places to find rocks like this.
Second, purchase some inexpensive acrylic paints and a few paint brushes and let your kiddo go to town painting.
Third, spray your rocks with a clear coating. This way if they are left outside the paint will not wash away.
Last, and this is the fun part for you and I. Make some cute boxes or gift wrapping to hold the rocks.
In my video I show you how to assemble the whole box and tag. Below is how to stamp and punch the sentiment for the tag.
Make sure you check out the video. Come back tomorrow for my first LIVE YOU TUBE streaming event. I am so excited. You can order from the new catalog beginning tomorrow!

So super cute! Macie must have been proud to have painted the rocks and hand these beauties out!
She loved painting them, and it kept her busy over an hour while I got to work on blog posts 🙂
