Everbunny Loves an Ugly Bunny

Punch art bunny tag for easter gift #punchart #luvinstampin #stampinup #wendycranford www.luvinstampin.com

Well I’m battin’ a thousand lately.

Look at this creepy bunny I made.  He’s not so much ugly as he is creepy.  I think his eyes are what nightmares are made of.  Just sayin’

Ok he’s not horrible and the kids will think he’s adorable but he has a bit of a horror movie element.  Don’t you think?

The box is ADORABLE though.  I used shimmer embossing paste mixed with Pool Party reinker to create the clouds.

TIPS & INSTRUCTIONS:

+ Use the shimmery embossing paste mixed with 2 drops of pool party reinker.  Add this over the stencil hat has clouds. Make sure to tape off the top and bottom of the box when you do do this

+ For the tag:  Cut Pool Party card stock at 2″ x 3 1/2″, punch top with scalloped tag punch, punch bottom two corners with Detailed Trio corner rounder.

+ Here are the pieces for the bunny:  Face – 1 1/2″ circle punch, Cheeks – 1/2″ circle punch, Eyes, Bow tie and nose – Cookie Cutter punch, Ears – Christmas Bulb punch.  To create the inside of the ear, add the blushing bride card stock to a post it note and punch a second time.

He’s got that deer caught in the headlights look, but he’s growing on me! Cute project! The kids will love it! Thanks! For sharing.

Oh, my goodness!!! First I don’t think the bunny is too creepy but I think this creepy story is maybe influencing your creations!!!! LOL, I am kidding but I can’t wait to get to the end of this story. I love your tag and I love this cute goodie box – next on my wish list!!! Maybe a blue dot instead of a black one behind this bunny’s eyes?! Not sure. I am still having a big smile on my face over this whole creepy bunny thing going on here!!!! Big Hugs 😉

I wonder if the eyes were oval shaped or a different color, would it make a difference? Cute idea and really not that creepy.

Wendy, You are too cute for words! Love your videos. Your bunny, on the other hand, leaves me speechless! Thanks for the laughs.

I love your sense of humor about cards/projects that don’t turn out exactly as you had envisioned. I lived your “ugly” color combo cards and I love these bunnies. Your “struggles” are so relatable and make me feel not as bad about my own. 🙂 I really enjoy your content!

Perhaps you meant Bunny With a Face Only a Mommy Could Love… i kept looking at your Bunny wondering why you would think he looks creepy. Then I wondered what I would change if I made my own Bunny…maybe the eyes. Finally I decided All Bunnies are Cute!
