Fun at IKEA

Last week I had the pleasure of visiting IKEA in West Sacramento with Patty Bennett, Cindee Wilkinson and Lisa Rhine.  We had so much fun getting creative inspiration for our Stampin’ UP! businesses.  We also found some great organizational ideas, and storage solutions for our craft rooms.

Here the ladies are in front of IKEA.

These pillows were a FAVORITE for all of us.  Check back on Saturday because I have some ideas for these pillows.
I really loved the colors in this room.  They were black, white, orange and pink.  Now normally these are not colors I would put together.  However, I found this room so fun, and notice, more polka dots and stripes thrown together.
The only reason I took this picture is for that weird lamp.  Cindee and I got a good laugh from that lamp.  I don’t know what it is.  It’s like a tutu.
I loved this space.  Over on the wall by the clocks, those are magnetic boards.  What a great place to hang up inspiration or projects you are working on.  I also loved the shelves that are above the desk.  Those would be handy.
Patty loved this space.  I thought it was nice too.  However too dark for me for creating.  It would make a great den or reading room.  The shelf units would be handy for craft storage.

Here is a GREAT craft space for apartment living or a small home.  If I had not convinced my hubby I had to use the whole dining room for my craft space, I would be using something along these lines.
OKAY!!!!  HERE are my big finds.  Well technically Patty found this thing.  It’s an organizer.  I used it in my top craft drawer that is always a HOT MESS!  Yes I said it.  But if you check out the before and after you will see I was able to VERY NICELY organize all this stuff.  My clear blocks are so easy to get to now.  The best part is these organizers were only $3.00 each.

This is probably my FAVORITE find.  I had this bar from my friend Lori but the buckets she gave me were purple and pink and didn’t really match my room.  So while we were at IKEA I saw more of them and they were white! SCORE!!!  So I bought four of them, only $.99 cents each.  Look at all the space I gained on my counter top!  FABULOUS!
