Background stamps are great but they often don’t get used in as many ways as the could.
Today I am going to show you some versatility in background stamps.
When we purchase something and know we can use it in more than one way it makes that purchase even sweeter. Am I right?
It’s like finding out your pantyhose not only keep your tummy tucked but can be used to put chicken liver in for catfish bait. Um, ok maybe only a country girl would find that versatility. But it works great. Really. (PS you aren’t wearing the pantyhose while putting the chicken liver in, in case you were wondering)
Moving on to stamps. I used the Brushstrokes background stamp to create plaid or a gingham print background.
I also used it to kiss to the dots for days background stamp to make two new background stamps. Yes they kissed and had two babies. Someone should’ve told them it all starts with kissing.
Here is a cute card I made using the technique I referenced above. Make sure to watch my video to see up close and personal how fun and cool these techniques are.
Hope you enjoy the video.
Here are the supplies I used on the halloween card, along with a list of all the Stampin’ UP! background stamps we have to offer.
