Today’s cards are definitely made with a cause in mind.
My Gramma went home to be with the Lord in January 2017. It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever been through.
Sadly, her death was slow and not graceful as she declined with Alzheimers. The disease of the devil.
I am telling you, if you’ve never witnessed what Alzheimers does to a person I pray you never do. It’s horrendous. Watching every memory they’ve ever had leave them and the people gathered around them that they love become strangers is simply cruel.
I made today’s cards in my Gramma’s memory. Recently a team member of mine was rewarded with a $100 bonus. Instead of taking the bonus she gave the bonus back to me and asked that I donate the money to the Alzheimers Association.. I did just that.
Thank you so much Debie for your loving and generous contribution. You have no idea how much that meant to me.
Debie will be getting one of these cards from me.
I miss my Gramma every day. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of her at some point. Especially in spring when the flowers are blooming and the birds are singing. She loved both.
If you feel led to, make a contribution to the Alzheimers foundation. CLICK HERE to do that. Even $1 makes a difference.
I will be going live today at 3pm PST on Facebook to make these cards with you and chat a little. The video will be uploaded here after.
I’m not even going to list out the supplies today. I just ask that if you have some cash to spare that you make a donation instead of purchasing anything from me.

Sending hugs Wendy – sorry about your grandmother. My father just passed away from Alzheimer’s – it’s a sad illness.
