Hi Everyone, Well as you know I was gone all week last week. Macie and I took a vacation week! YAY! So I don’t have much to post this week regarding school. However I thought I would share some information of resources that I use.
HSLDA – Homeschool Legal Defense: this is the group we use to protect us in case a truancy officer were to ever come to our home. We can just refer them right to HSLDA and they can take care of questions for us.
Confessions of a Homeschooler – Awesome blogger. She has so much great information and fun printables.
Christian Liberty Academy – this is the curriculum we chose to use. I am pretty happy with it. I can see room for improvement.
National Geographic Kids – they have amazing videos and information on animals and nature. We love this website.
ABC MOUSE – I subscribe to ABC Mouse so that Macie has time on the computer. Macie really enjoys all the time she spends on this site. I have her do it about 30 minutes at a time, two or three times a week. The best thing is she thinks she’s just playing on the computer.
