Today’s card was inspired by a You Tube follower. I’m not sure who it was, honestly.
However, I know the person asked me if I would share a video on how to color white objects.

I thought coloring ice skates would be the perfect way to share how to color a white object.
I’ll admit I had to google images of ice skates because I couldn’t remember what the base of the shoe part looked like. No matter how much Kristi Yamaguchi I watched.

TIPS & INSTRUCTIONS
+ Card base is cut at 4-1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 5-1/2″ and folded to make a top folding A2 size card.
+ The base layer is cut at 4″ x 5-1/4″, I used Blushing Bride and Rococo Rose to ink blend the background and stamp the Blushing Bride snowflakes.
+ Use Shimmery White Embossing Paste and the Basic Patterns Masks to add polka dots to the layer.
+ Color the ice skates with Light Smoky Slate, Dark Smoky Slate, Dark Basic Black and the color lifter.

Thank you for showing g how to color white. I have struggled with that! Love the card-reminds me of growing up back home (PA) and ice skating. I had a pair of white skates and a pair of sky blue with faux fur trim! About the one space or two space at the end of a sentence-I was taught 2 spaces/so you mean to tell me that our teachers were wrong!!

Love the shake card, it is so cute ! I was taught that two spaces after a period in typing. I think it looks better. Can’t believe that they are changing this !!

I love this card!!! I also was taught 2 spaces after a period. It just looks like you have ended one thought and are starting another. Why on earth would they want to change that? Also Thanks so much I got happy mail today. How did you know I needed a little bit of sweets today and love that notebook, so cute!
Take care

I love your skate card. It’s beautiful in pink. I was taught 2 spaces. There is always 2 spaces after a period. What is
happening in this world.
Love your cards and stories. Thanks!

thanks for sharing today. I was also taught 2 spaces. I think it’s weird when you say “period” because to me that’s your once a month visitor. 🙂 In Australia or England its called a “full stop” then 2 spaces before starting the next sentence.
Hope you are having a wonderful day
