How To Create a Plaid Background

Create a plaid background using ink and a sponge and masking tape. Wendy Cranford luvinstampin.com

I love plaid.  In fact I have at least 4 plaid shirts.  Something about it looks so pretty to me.

Plus it’s a very country look and I live in the country, so I guess it’s meant to be.

Today I created some beautiful simple cards using an ink blending technique to create a plaid background.

This looks like a wow card but is SO simple.  Anyone can do it.  I promise.

I created these card for my amazing team members.

As I am sure you know, when you become a Stampin’ UP! member you have to choose someone to “join” under.  I always tell people choose carefully.  You don’t want to sign up with somebody that doesn’t do any fun stuff.

If you are looking for a place to sign up, we’d love to have you on our team.

We have a monthly make and take on You Tube open to everyone, and you can get a $5 make and take kit to join in if you are on my team.  You enjoy a 20% discount and so much more.  You can click HERE if you want to read all the details on the benefits of becoming part of our stamping community.

Below are the supplies I used on this card.  You will be pleasantly surprise to know that it’s not that many.  That means for a fairly small amount of money you could make cards like this.

Did you know that you can buy the starter kit from Stampin’ UP! for $99, but you get to choose $125 in product to go in the kit!?  That’s $26 in free product.  Plus FREE shipping on the kit.  Fabulous deal.
