How To Create Ink Blended Frame with A Sweet Santa

Ink blended frames are one of my favorite techniques. I love how fun they make a card look and the trick behind them is so incredibly simple.

First, I want to make sure you have masking paper. Masking paper is so important for this technique. You can purchase masking paper on Amazon, CLICK HERE to order some.

Simply start by cutting the masking paper the size of the cardstock you want to ink blend. Then, die-cut a shape from the masking paper in the area in which you want the ink to be blended on the cardstock.

If you want a little image poking into your ink blended area stamp the image first. Stamp the same image on masking paper and then hand cut it out. Add it over the image you stamped on your cardstock piece. Now add the masking paper that you die cut over the top of your image and on the cardstock.

Start the ink blending. Make sure to dab your blending tool off before applying it directly to the cardstock. This will help your ink blending be smooth.
