As much as I would love to claim that I came up with the display frame card idea, I can’t. It’s that ol’ Jennifer McGuire at it again. Did you know she was an engineer by trade? The woman is wicked smart and comes up with some brilliant stuff.
I’m going to link to her original video below but I wanted to show you how to make one of these cards with a Stampin’ UP! spin and in a Readers Digest version video. (that’s why my family tells me when I am telling a story, that they want the Reader’s Digest version)
Anyhow, this card is super simple and packs a huge punch. Let’s get into it.
Here are the measurements of the display frame card:
+ One piece of Basic White Thick cardstock 4-1/4″ x 11″ and score it at 1-1/4″ and 5-1/2″.
+ One piece of Basic White Thick cardstock at 4-1/4″ x 5-1/4″ and score at 1/2″ on each end.
+ Two pieces of Basic White Thick cardstock cut at 1″ x 3″ and score at 3/4″, 1-1/2″ and 2-1/4″.
Here is Jennifer’s original video. I’ll warn you the video is almost 40 minutes long and her voice is like listening to a meditation app. HAHA! I love her don’t get me wrong, but I’ve been known to turn her videos on to calm me or put me to sleep when I can’t fall asleep.
