How To Make A Flat Shaker Card

Today I am sharing how to make a flat shaker card. I love these cards and how easy they are to create.

Save your cello bags from packaging or you can purchase medium clear envelopes from Stampin’ UP! to create these awesome cards.

All of the supplies I used on this flat shaker card are listed below and you can click on any of the images to purchase them in my online store.

I want to give full credit to Kelly Taylor for inspiring this card. She is a wonderful cardmaker and does storytime like I do. That’s how I fell in love with her videos. That and she can color like a boss.

Anyway, these are the most simply shaker cards you can create.

While I did go a little crazy with all the ink blending and stamping, you could create a card using a patterned designer series paper and put your shaker bits in right on top. This would be a perfect way to use up a lot of designer series paper and make some fun and easy shaker cards.

Below you will see the color combination I used to create this card. If you are in my VIP Facebook group don’t forget to create a card using this combo and you’ll be entered to win prizes.

If you’re not in my VIP group you can be a part of it by placing an online order with me.

    • I liked the card, but was totally ready to turn your video off with your dishwasher story. Totally unnecessary. Common sense tells you to contact the company and request that he never be sent to your house again or you will find another company to work with.

No need to continue to leave comments. I’m clearly not the right channel, blog, demonstrator for you. It’s ok. No need to be hurtful. There’s a human on the other end of this computer my friend.
Thank you for all your thoughts.

  1. This video was very frustrating as I really didn’t watch it to hear about your dishwasher problem. I was more interested in the card making process. However, my input is that you need to contact the company, let them know how uncomfortable and unprofessional their repairman was and the he is not to be sent to your house again or you will go elsewhere.

I’m probably not the right channel for you. I share about my life in all my videos. It’s how I like to connect with my community. Thanks so much for the comment.
