Tuesday on my YouTube live I shared how to make a flip card. These cards are fun and easy to make.
I have a couple of things I’d like to address before we talk more about the card.
First, you may notice my photos look a little yellow or orange, I use natural light to take my photos and since the smoke is filling our skies my photo quality is not great. I ask for grace.
Second and last, this post is way behind schedule because my stupid blogging platform wouldn’t let me create a post over the last 3 days GRRRR.
But here I am people. I did it!
Now let’s move on to this cute card. The sheep on this card is absolutely adorable. I want him to be my friend. I colored him with some Gray Granite just to give a little shadow.
His face and legs are colored with Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends and his hooves with black.
Flip cards are super easy to make but the thing that makes them the easiest is using an asymmetrical die. You can use shape dies but they do make things a little more tricky.
If you’re interested in seeing a video using a shape die for a flip card let me know in the comments below.
The Counting Sheep stamp set and Sheep Dies I used are free with a $50 order each. Meaning, a $100 order from me gets you both the stamp set and the dies for free. Not to mention my cute August Sampler Pack of goodies.
