Today on my YouTube live I shared how to make a spinner card. Spinner cards are fabulous to make for kids. They get such a kick out of the spinning mechanism when they open the card.

The measurements for this card are:

+ 4-1/4″ x 11″ for the card base and scored at 5-1/2″

+ 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″ Basic Black cardstock

+ 4″ x 5-1/4″ Cute Halloween Designer Series Paper

Adhere the designer series paper and the Basic Black cardstock together and die cut with the Hippo & Friends dies. Make sure to cut twice since there are two layers of paper.

Next, line the cut piece with the window on the top of the card base. Set the die-cut in the open hole and run it through the die-cut machine to make an impression on the card base. Remove the designer paper layer and line the die-cut up with the impression and die cut again to make a hole.

Now add adhesive on the card base at the top and bottom of the die-cut window and adhere the twine, make sure it is taunt.

Layer the designer series paper and Basic Black piece on top lining the windows up. Stamp and add both shapes to the spinner thread making sure one goes on each side of the thread or twine.
