The Ultimate Guide to Using Blending Pens

I have found over the years there are several things in my craft room I can live without.

In fact.  Truth be told I could probably open a small store for stuff that I don’t HAVE to have.

But there is one single item that I think every card maker should own.

The Blender Pen.

Really it provides such versatility for your stamp sets.  Let’s explore what I mean.

You can stamp in a solid color, and then simply use a blender pen to move that color around.

I did that here.  I stamped the ice cream in solid colors and then just used the blender to add color into the image.  It creates a really light color.

Then there’s this option.  You can stamp in Staz On Ink and then add color using different color inks.  I do this by coloring on a tile with Stampin’ Write Markers.  Then I can pick up the ink off the tile using the blender pen and applying it to the image I’ve stamped.

Last I had to share my cute strawberries with you.  I just love the Market Fresh stamp set from Stampin’ UP!.  To be totally honest I didn’t care for it when I first saw it.  I loved the images but not the sentiments.

However they have grown on me and I really love them.  They make beautiful cards, don’t they?

Great video, Wendy. I think my blender pens are drying out because I do not get the juice you did. Now I know what the problem is. Thanks for sharing. You are SO-O fast. I am jealous!
