Layered Ink Blended Backgrounds

Today’s card was super fun to create using layered ink blended backgrounds. The number one reason I bought the Bag of Bones Bundle was for the little skeleton dog and cat. Aren’t they cute? I don’t make tons of Halloween cards but I do like making some fun ones for friends and my little nieces.

LAYERED INK BLENDED BACKGROUNDS

To start the layered background piece I chose three colors that I knew would go beautifully together. Starry Sky, Orchid Oasis and Melon Mambo. Instead of stacking the colors on top of each other I blended them all together.

I have to say even though I’m not a huge Halloween fan I really love making Halloween things because I love the colors. This month I have committed to watching a scary movie with my sister every Thursday and then she’s going to be forced to watch Hallmark movies with me in November HAHA!

These cute little boxes come in a back of 10 and are so simple to put together. You can use them for any occasion because they come in white. You’re able to dress them up however you’d like.
