Giving money as a gift can sometimes seem a little impersonal. But it doesn’t have to be.
You can put the personal right back into the gift when you give it with a handmade card.
Today’s card features a fun wallet fold and the gorgeous Let It Ride stamp set.
This stamp set is really versatile and can be used for any occasion. Heck, you could even give a card with horses on it to a non horse enthusiast. Because really doesn’t everyone appreciate the majesty of a horse.
I created a video to show you how I made this card.
There are a couple of tips that will help it fold nicely. The written tips and instructions are listed below the video, in case watching a video isn’t your thing.
+ Cut card stock 6″ x 11″
+ Score card stock on 6″ side at 2″
+ Score card stock on 11″ side at 4″ and 9″
+ Designer Series Paper pieces for inside of card 1 3/4″ x 3 3/4″, 1 3/4″ x 1 3/4″, 1 3/4″ x 4 3/4″
+ Designer Series Paper pieces for outside of card, on the front 1 3/4″ x 3 3/4″ and 3 3/4″ x 3 3/4″
This is the card I created on the video. I wanted to showcase how you could create a totally different feel for the card just by changing up some of the colors and papers.
The wood grain and earth tones make this an awesome card for a boy, or for any outdoorsy folks. While the other card felt more youthful.
