Love Card with Simple Masking Technique

Love card with simple masking technique featuring the Double Take stamp set from Stampin' UP! Wendy Cranford luvinstampin.com

HELLO!

I am so excited about today’s share because I am featuring one of my very favorite stamp sets in the 2017 Occasions catalog.  Double Take stamp set.

Sometimes when I get a stamp set I create what I call a sample stamp sheet.  I do this to have a clear understanding of how the images will look once they are stamped.

Especially if they are a 2 step stamp set.  There are times you simply have to stamp those out in order to know what they will look like.

Below is my sample stamp sheet.  You see what I mean?  The images are more clear in my mind now as to how they will stamp out.

I simply couldn’t stop playing this this set.  Below I stamped the THANKS sentiment with Basic Gray and Smoky Slate ink in an effort to create more dimension.

The background is ink blending fun from a previous card that I created.  Remember those Dragonfly cards I created?  CLICK HERE to see that blog post.

Here is a video on the simple masking technique I used and you can see how easy this was to create with very limited supplies.

The supply list is below the video.  You can click on any of the images to order them in my online store.
