You can create the cutest simple handmade gift box using a little bit of Stampin’ UP! cardstock, some adorable designer series paper and a few other tools.
I have tips in my video today for mass producing projects like this.
I made the simple handmade gift box times four, to give to the principal, teacher and two office ladies at my daughters school.
When I know that I have to mass produce I make sure the project is somewhat simple. Otherwise, it’s easy to get overwhelmed and burned out.
After I cut all my supplies it only took me a little over 20 minutes to put all these boxes together.
TIPS & INSTRUCTIONS:
+ Cut cardstock at 6-3/4″ x 12″
+ Score cardstock at 2-3/4″, 5-1/2″, 8-1/4″ and 11″ on the landscape side (the 12″ side)
+ Turn the cardstock and score at 2-3/4″
+ Cut four Wrapped In Plaid Designer Series Paper pieces at 2-1/2″ x 3-3/4″ and add to the panels on the box.
+ Simply fold box together and use Tear & Tape adhesive to close box on the side tab and the bottom of the box.
I decided to create a quick printable for you so that you could print it and keep it handy so you can make these boxes anytime for any occasion.

Hi Wendy,
They are called spoilers on the trunk. They make the hood heavy and are just for looks.
Great box by the way.
