Any excuse I can find to make a fun treat or favor I will take.
I created these little candy jars with the cute monster on the front for my daughter and nieces.
Over the weekend my hubby and I got to escape to Tahoe. (Pictures on my blog tomorrow)
We celebrated 10 years of wedded bliss (ok not every moment has been bliss, but lots of the moments have been)
My sis in law and her kids agreed to come stay at our house and watch over our kid, 9 chickens, 2 dogs, 2 cats and garden and all our flowers while we were away. I CANNOT THANK HER ENOUGH!
But I tried.
I got her and her husband gift cards, bought them their favorite adult beverage and stuck it in the ice box and made the kids treats.
I want them to feel extra super special for the trouble they are going to. It really means more to me than they will ever know.
This is the first time my husband and I have been anywhere together since our honeymoon. Well, without our munchkin in tow. We normally can’t stand to leave her. But a 10 year anniversary calls for a romantic getaway.
