Today’s card features three of the new Stampin’ UP! in colors and they are divine.
One of my dearest friends goes by the name of Rosa to everyone else.
But to me, she goes by Smelly.
One might think, that is quite a rude name for a friend.
However, we have been calling each other Smelly for 20 years.
Rosa and I met working at the bank together many moons ago. When we would get on each others nerves or be trying to get each others attention we would just say …. “Hey Smelly” and it stuck.
To this day we address each other with the loving term “Smelly”. In fact it’s rare that either of us call each other by our names.
I’ll tell you what isn’t smelly. The new Stampin’ UP! in colors. They are fabulous. I know you can’t wait to get your hands on them.
I used the Large Letter dies to cut out Rosa’s nickname and make a card for her and also made her a special envelope. Can you believe that the Larger Letter dies are retiring and are no longer going to be in the catalog? GASP. If you want to get your hands on these dies I suggest you order them now before they are gone.
TIPS & INSTRUCTIONS:
+ Card base at 7″ x 8-1/2″ and score on the 7″ side at 3-1/2″.
+ Cut Seaside Spray card stock at 3-1/4″ x 8-1/4″.
+ Cut Whisper White thick card stock at 3″ x 8″.
+ Stamp all the images in all the colors on the 3″ x 8″ piece of card stock and then die cut the letters out.
+ Layer the stamped and die cut piece of card stock to the Seaside Spray card stock and then pop up the letters in the cut out areas left behind.
Supplies used on this card are listed below. Some of the supplies are retiring and while supplies last. Some of them you can get with no worries and some will not be available until June 3rd. I have listed them out separately under the video.
These are current and carrying over items. Any items you don’t see listed in the supply list mean they aren’t available until June 3rd.
