Oogie Boogie is all I could think of when I looked at this card.  I created this card for the Global Design Project sketch challenge.

Doesn’t it kind of give you the creeps.

INSPIRATION:  I admit it, I am addicted to The Walking Dead.  I am as shocked as you are about this.  I generally speaking hate stuff like this, and I spend a good part of every episode in the fetal position with a pillow over my face and a blanky.  Looking like a 10 year old watching a scary movie.  But I can’t stop watching.  I CAN’T.  So there is an episode of this gruesome show where the Governor has heads in aquariums on a shelf.  There it is.  That is my inspiration for this card.  I thought of shelves with jars of oogie boogie stuff in them.

I thought this would be a fun card to give to a kiddo and then they can use the insert as a bookmark.  Cute, right!?

I watercolored this card, and  love how it turned out.  Then I did one using my copic markers.

I am not as fond of the copic marker one.  I feel like it’s too white.  HA!  That probably sounds weird.  The watercolor paper has a more dingy look, or off white, and I feel like it goes better with the theme of my card.

Here is the copic colored version of this card.

The video is below along with all of my supplies, if you need any of the items please make sure you click on the images to order them in my online store.  ENJOY!

Fantastic card and book mark! Love the colors and different levels of jars. Definitely reminiscent of the Governors shelf!

Cute card! Now I’ll have to watch “The Living Dead” ! I like the watercolor best also but they are both really cute.
