Welcome to the OSAT blog hop for February. So glad you’re here. You might be here from Tina Riddle’s blog. Or maybe you are starting here. Either way down at the bottom of the post you will find the whole line up.
Gramps use to say “All you need is love, but money helps” HAHA! Isn’t that funny? It cracked me up.
Now at 35 years old, I totally get why he said that and it’s true. You do only need love. But money helps.
I decided to take that concept and run with it for my project today.
My little one decided she wants a “good” camera like me. She has set a goal of earning and saving $200 in order to purchase her own camera.
She’s been plotting and planning and I love it. I am so proud of her setting a goal and working towards earning this camera. So I thought I would make her a cute card and a jar with little dollars in it to help get her started on her saving.
I know this month is LOVE but I am showing my love through this project, instead of a traditional valentines goody.
To create the mason jar with money I cut out two of the medium jars and then used little 1″ x 1-1/2″ pieces of card stock to create a box on the inside. I hope you can make out what I did by the photos below.
