Partial Die Cutting Pop UP Card & Shannon Stories

I love using my dies in unique and fun ways.

A couple weeks back I did a video on partial die cutting, you can see that HERE.

Today I am doing it again, but in a different way.  I hope you’ll join me live on Facebook at 3pm PST to see this cool technique.  CLICK HERE to go to my Facebook page.

If you can’t join me live that’s totally fine you can always catch the replay.

We will also be chatting about the one and only Shannon!  Shannon has been in my life since I was 6.  She came along in 1986 and was quite the little miracle baby.

Since that time she’s been a best buddy of mine and will forever be.  She’s funny and fun and the most neutral human I know.  Meaning, she’s always Switzerland.  She gets along with everyone and everyone likes her because she never make a raucous.

She’s always been there for me as a shoulder to cry on and a friend to laugh with.  She knows how to have a good time but it also one of the most responsible people I know.

I adore her.

We will be chatting about her and I will share some fun stories about our childhood when I go live!

TIPS & INSTRUCTIONS:

+ Cut card base at 4-1/4″ x 11″ and score at 2-3/4″ and 5 -1/5″

+ Place die in the area you want to cut on the card stock.  Line the die up over the are that you scored at 2-3/4″.  You want half of the die to cut on the top portion of this area.  So that when you fold on the 2-3/4″ score line it creates an easel or stand up card.

+ Add card stock to the top of the clear cutting pad, but only lay the die on the area you want to cut.

+ Add top cutting pad on the top.

Supplies used on the card are listed below.  You can purchase them in my online store by clicking on any of the images.
