Today’s card is serving (no pun intended) all sorts of purposes.
First it’s a swap card. A swap is a fun event in which several people decide to make several of the same card, they then get together and exchange cards, so they go home with several different cards. It’s super fun.
This card is going to be swap for two different swaps and it’s also going to be a card kit for an upcoming card class.
Inside the cards I am providing the address to write to a soldier. I thought this would be a fun way to make the swap card a giving card too. I have provided the info in this blog post as well, I hope you get inspired to write a letter to a soldier.

Hi Wendy,
I wanted to thank you for the info on Operation Gratitude. I have forwarded the info to my eldest daughter as she is always sending packages to the military. I come from a military family. My father was in the Air Force for 20 years as was my husband. My two brothers and my eldest son served several years each in the military. My granddaughter has been in the Air Force for over 8 years. My granddaughter will turn 30 on July 1st and I am going to CASE your Ribbon of Courage card (with a couple of changes) for her birthday. Thank you very much!
