I created this fun Peek A Boo card using the brand new Stampin’ UP! In Colors. I love these colors and they worked so nicely for this stamp set.
If I am being totally honest I don’t really know what this kind of card is called. I actually don’t think it is called a peek a boo card, I think it’s more like a partial front flap card. Not sure, if that’s a thing.

I used the Stamparatus for all the stamping of this image. First, I stamped the outline of the flowers in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
After that, I added all the colors. Some of the colors I stamped off first before stamping so that I would get a lighter color, this is called 2nd generation stamping.

On the front of the card I used the border edge die from the Hand-Penned Petals Bundle. I cut a second piece from black cardstock and glued it to the inside back of the front flap. This gave the front of the card a fun look and separated it from the back of the card. This is a great way to add some fun dimension to the card so you can clearly see the front is shorter than the back.
The Thanks sentiment was perfect for this card and the finished touch was the matte black dots.
