Now Lets get started ….
This month we are focusing on photos!  How we take them, Why? of what? SO I am going to share what I do.

I have a certification in photography.  Which means nothing! Except that I have an good grasp on how to use light and composition.  BUT, when I am taking snapshots of life, I don’t think of any of those things.  Most of my photos are taken with my iPhone!  I take a quick snapshot of whatever strikes me. I have found that it is more important to me to capture the moments than make sure everything about the moment is perfect.  So I use photoshop to fix whatever I can’t stand!
Here is a video of my current album!

At first I thought that I would print all my photos once a month and then go back and scrapbook them.  But I soon realized that with Project Life style scrapbooking I really do not need to do that.  I can print more often.  So I’ve been printing every couple of weeks.

I try to take photos that speak to me.  Like a moment that I love, even if no one else understands it.  Here are a few pictures I took that I really love and why!

This one is of my daughter and my cousin.  He came to visit from Washington and Macie fell in love with him and all the rest of my family.  I felt like this photo captures her comfort with him.  He is a good man, and has a wonderful family.  This photo makes my cup runneth over.

This one I took with my phone.  This was when Macie learned to hold her breath under water!  I love this moment!

This was one of the best nights I have had thus far with my daughter.  It was just her and I and we spontaneously stopped at the Main St Christmas Open House.  Father Christmas was walking around and she wanted a photo with him.  This is one of the nights burned into my memory as perfection.  We enjoyed each other so much and enjoyed the love of Christmas taking over this town.  We had hot chocolate together and sat on a bench, and watched people, we went into stores and made a few purchases, we walked through bubbles that were floating through the crisp winter air.  She got her face painted.  But most of all we enjoyed each others company.  I feel like a tradition was started with her and I.  One that I plan to foster and encourage every year!

Those are some great photos! Adore the one of your daughter coming up from the water. Just goes to show that the camera from which you take a photo does not matter.
