I don’t know about you, but sometimes I get in a major crafting funk. I can feel like I am just doing the same old thing, over and over and over and over and over… you get my point here.
The best advice I can give on getting out of the crafting doldrums and refreshing and renewing your crafting experience is to BUY SOMETHING NEW. I bought Art C Molding Paste and the Mum Brass Stencil. I could only find Golden Acrylic online. Which is not the one I bought, but I am sure will work.
I have been obsessively watching You Tube videos that are using this awesome molding paste. Seems as though art journalers use it most often. I had a gift card to Michaels (you can see that haul here) and decided I should try my hand with this super awesome stuff.
I needed a refresh and renew. Something different that I had never used before. This is how it turned out. Gorgeous! I used a watercolor technique to create the background and then added the paste to the top of the card. Watch my video below to see how I created the card.
So I have something else important to share. You may or may not know that April is Autism Awareness Month. You also may or may not know that my nephew is Autistic and my dear friends daughter is Autistic. So this cause is near and dear to my heart. FOR THE ENTIRE MONTH of April I will be donating my 20% Commission from Stampin’ UP! orders to Amador Autism Group. This keeps funds local, in my home town. YAY! ALSO The entire week of April 6-10 you get FREE SHIPPING from Stampin’ UP!
My point.. I always have one…. Is that ordering this WEEK is a WIN WIN WIN… You get FREE SHIPPING, your order is donating to a great cause AND…. I get credit for your order. LOVE WIN WIN WINs.
Let’s recap….
- Refresh & Renew your crafting by trying something BRAND NEW and going shopping.
- Get FREE SHIPPING all week April 6-10 on all your Stampin’ UP! Orders
- Order Stampin’ UP! from me all of April and my 20% commission goes to the Amador Autism Group. YAY!!! So excited about this.
Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you enjoyed my technique and shares. Hugs from me!

Very pretty card! Do you think that if you leave the stencil in place for a bit that it would help to not mess up the flower or your paper…just curious! Thanks!

As the mother of a young man with autism, I am blown away by your generosity. I would follow suit, but don’t have enough customers to make much of a contribution. Thank you for this wonderful act of giving. Love the card too.
