Sew (haha) about a year ago I decided I wanted to learn
how to sew. I saw this as an opportunity to make clothes for my daughter to reduce clothing expenses, make gifts for people, and have fun using some of the fabric Stampin Up offers. A year in I am still VERY novice. I’ve only made two dresses for my daughter and the rest I have made little accessory, what not items. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. However I have made some cute items… and these coasters are one of my very favorite things to make. They are easy and quick. And sewing is a new love of mine. It takes patience and there are moments I have considered taking my machine out back and beating it repeatedly with a sledge hammer… I have a pretty cheap Singer, and it bird nests ALL THE TIME! Anyway, here is a video of how to make these coasters. AND a picture of the movie star dog that decided to make a cameo in my video! Remember my Sunday posts are “FUN” … HEE HEE!
Buddy – the adorable but annoying movie star!
Have a great Sunday everyone…. We are off to church this morning and then I am off to my workshop this afternoon! It’s going to be a great day.

Great little coaster – perfect for gifts. Love that Buddy put his two cents worth in!!
Ha-Ha Buddy knew things were too quiet and intense. Thanks so much for this video. I’ve seen these coasters before but had no idea they were that simple to make. They look like a fun, easy project to do with granddaughters.
